So all in all, when I play Hades (who is my most played god) it depends on what role I'm filling and how well things are going as to how I balance power versus defense.įor playing in other game modes besides Conquest where there are more teamfights early on and less chance of farming minions, I usually go for Shoes of the Magi, Chronos' Pendant/Breastplate of Valor (offense/defense CDR, depending on how it's going), Bancroft's Talon/Pythagorem's Piece (lifesteal and sustain if going well and need more damage, depending on how many other Magical allies there are) or Mail of Renewal/Stone of Gaia (Physical or Magical sustain if going poorly and need more defense), Runic Shield/Mystical Mail/Hide of the Urchin/Pestilence (depending on whether the enemy is now heavy Magical or Physical or both or healing, if going well this might be the only defensive item), Gem of Isolation or Spear of the Magus (depending on whether I need to keep them from running away or tear up their protections if they aren't running away), and finally Ethereal Staff (if it didn't go well and I built lots of defense/health) or Rod of Tahuiti (if it did go well and I just need tons of damage to finish them off). ![]() And again, Hide of the Urchin can be a good item, but you have to need both types of protections, and be sure you'll be getting kills and assists and have enough time for it to stack all of which means it's not necessarily the most popular item for playing Solo Lane in Conquest, but if you're playing another game mode against a mix of Physical and Magical opponents, that's where Hide of the Urchin shines. If you need Magical Protections, going with a Stone of Gaia will give you that plus HP5 and MP5 which might accomplish the regen it looks like you were going for with the lifesteal items, but in a more convenient package. Gem of Isolation is also a very good item on Hades to help keep enemies close by and make it harder to escape his Ult, so good plan there.īreastplate of Valor is a pretty good item for Hades because of giving you defense plus some CDR, but keep in mind that it only gives you Physical Protections. The one thing about Ethereal Staff though is that even though Hades has a lot of Health, it's still not as powerful as a more typical damage item like Chronos' Pendant or Rod of Tahuiti unless you've been building a lot of Health defense items already. ![]() When combined with the Ethereal Staff (e-staff) you'll get a lot of Magic Power on top of your tankiness because it converts a percentage of your Health into bonus Magic Power. Like Hercury said, if you can farm minions in lane, you should start with Warlock's Sash to build both Magic Power and even more health than Hades naturally gains. Pythagorem's Piece is a good lifesteal item as well, but it is more team oriented, so if you're playing Hades Solo and still have a Mage Mid and another Guardian playing Support, it might be better to get Pythagorem's piece instead to help them as well for teamfights. Bancroft's Talon is probably the more important lifesteal item on Hades because he frequently is getting attacked while using his Ult, so the combination of lifesteal to keep you alive longer and more damage while losing health works well with his Ult. ![]() Also, having THREE lifesteal items on Hades on top of his innate healing is probably a bit redundant and is lowering your damage potential. Polynomicon is best used on Mage gods like Sol or Freya who are constantly using their basic attacks. Escrito originalmente por Calamitys the disaster:I use Breastplate of Valor with Polynomicon, Bancrofts Talon, Gem Of Isolation, Pyth Peice, And Hide of the urchin? Is that alright to use? If you guys have any other builds let me know! I wouldn't mind trying them out! Polynomicon is for boosting basic attacks after using an ability and Hades is not really a basic attack focused god.
